NeuroNav is a machine learning simulation and puzzle game. This Privacy Policy explains what we (the app operator based in Cyprus) collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1) Who we are & scope

This policy covers the NeuroNav mobile app (iOS/Android). It does not cover third‑party websites or services you may access through links.

2) What we collect (and what we don’t)

Local‑only Game Data

Your game progress, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device using your device's native storage (Shared Preferences). This includes:

• Simulation Settings: Grid size, simulation speed, and enemy speed.
• Agent Customization: Selected agent styles (e.g., Top Hat, Monocle) and colors.
• Learning Parameters: Q-Learning values (Alpha, Gamma, Epsilon).

This data stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

Purchases & Billing

If you choose to purchase the "Premium" or "Pro" unlock:

• Transactions are processed directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• We receive a receipt/token to verify the purchase, but we do not receive or store your payment card details, billing address, or personal financial information.

Diagnostics

We may receive anonymous crash reports provided directly by the Apple App Store or Google Play Console if you opt-in to share diagnostics with app developers through your device settings. These reports help us fix bugs.

We do not collect

• Personal Identifiers: We do not collect names, emails, or phone numbers. There is no account creation or login system.
• Media: We do not access your Camera, Photos, or Microphone.
• Location: We do not track your precise or background location.
• Ad Data: We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or track your activity for marketing purposes.

3) Sources of data

• Directly from your device: Game settings and preferences you save locally.
• From App Stores: Purchase verification tokens (to unlock Premium features).

4) How we use your data

• App Functionality: To persist your simulation settings and agent customizations so they are available the next time you open the app.
• In-App Purchases: To validate your "Premium" status and unlock features like larger grids and exclusive skins.
• Compliance: To comply with applicable laws.

5) Mobile permissions

NeuroNav is designed to respect your privacy and does not currently request sensitive runtime permissions (such as Camera, Location, or Photos) to function.

6) Third‑party service providers (processors)

We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf for the strict purpose of app functionality:

• Apple App Store / Google Play Billing: To process one-time purchases and restore transactions.

We do not disclose personal data to third parties for their own marketing.

7) Sharing and “sale”

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross‑context behavioral advertising. We disclose data only to our service providers listed above or when required by law.

8) International location of data

Our operations are based in Cyprus (EU). However, since NeuroNav does not transmit your personal data to our own servers, your game data remains on your physical device.

9) Data retention

• Game Data: Stored locally on your device until you delete the app or clear the app's data in your settings.
• Purchase History: Retained by Apple/Google according to their own privacy policies and terms.

10) Your choices & rights

• Local Data: You can delete your game data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app storage in your Android/iOS settings.
• Access & Corrections: Since we do not hold an account for you, we do not have personal data to access or correct.
• Marketing: We do not collect your email, so we will not send you marketing emails.

11) EU/UK GDPR information

Because we are established in Cyprus, EU data protection law applies.

Lawful bases we rely on:

• Contract: To provide the app functionality (local storage of settings) and process purchases you initiate.
• Legitimate interests: To ensure the app functions correctly and to fix crashes.

Your GDPR rights:Since we do not store personal data on servers, the primary way to exercise your "right to erasure" is to uninstall the app. For questions regarding purchase data, please contact Apple or Google directly, as they act as the controller for billing information.

12) Children

NeuroNav does not knowingly collect personal data from children. The app is safe for all ages and does not contain social features, chat, or data collection trackers.

13) Payments

All payments are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive your full payment card details.

14) Changes to this policy

If we make material changes (e.g., adding new features that require cloud storage), we will update the policy and notify you via an app update.
